Josh Alvarez

Today, I accepted to be part of a new mission: analyzing how Star Trek has inspired culture and technology over the years. I am starting to get aquatinted with my fellow crew members who will accompany me on this journey. Together, we will be able to travel in time and beam on space vessels and stations and visit strange new worlds at warp speed. We will conduct our social research while abiding by the Prime Directive.

I am thrilled to be part of such an endeavour.  As I child, I always liked Star Trek. Nevertheless, my passion towards it grew while watching Captain Jean Luke Picard’s Next Generation. In this moment, thanks to shows being streamed, I have been able to watch all of the original series, The Next Generation and all the films. I am currently catching up with Deep Space Nine. 

I have a bachelors in arts degree and a master’s degree in Marketing. I am from Venezuela but I moved to Canada. Here is my bio:
